Bring your crew, friends, and family for boating and fun on Sturgeon Bay’s historic working waterfront.
On display at the 34th annual Door County Classic and Wooden Boat Show are beautiful boats to admire, some professionally built and maintained, others the work of talented amateurs, some boats are in the middle of restoration! Vessels range from canoes to kayaks, sailboats, fiberglass classics, and glorious mahogany runabouts.
Registered boaters showcase their boats for the weekend. and compete for awards and ribbons. Boats are displayed on the Maritime Museum grounds and along the waterfront promenade.
Planning for the 2025 Classic & Wooden Boat Show is underway, and details will be released early in the year.
Show hours are 10am-5pm Saturday and 10am-4pm Sunday. Friday afternoon is the opening of registration, and Bay-to-Lake cruise for registered boaters, and Docktails & Delights party.
Shop the Boathouse Sale, learn from U.S. Coast Guard demonstrations, view beautiful boats, and enjoy tasty food and drinks! The Classic & Wooden Boat Show is a great time for all ages on Sturgeon Bay’s west waterfront.
Donations are being accepted – and welcomed – for the Boathouse Sale. We’re looking for Nautical and Maritime items, such as boating hardware, rope/rigging, fishing gear, clothing and accessories, dive gear, nautical decor, even boats! The Boathouse Sale is a fundraiser for DCMM.

Sikaflex Build-A-Boat Contest:
The Boat Show also includes the hilarious and competitive Sikaflex Build-A-Boat Challenge. Watch as two-person teams work feverishly with limited materials on Saturday to craft a one-of-a-kind boat that will float during the “sea trials” on Sunday…hopefully! Sunday races begin at 1pm!

You’re invited to sell your goods at the Door County Maritime Museum (DCMM) during the annual Classic & Wooden Boat Show!
The Show is open to the public 10am-5pm, Saturday, August 3, and 10am-4pm, Sunday, August 4.
Vendors Wanted: Nautical items of all types! Supplies and equipment for boaters. Clothing for boaters and folks who love the water. Upcycled, recycled, freshly cycled items – we have buyers for it all!
DCMM may allow a limited number of direct sales vendors, and booths representing other non-profit organizations.
BLOODIES, BREWS & BACON SOCIAL
Join Destination Sturgeon Bay for the annual Bloodys (Mary), Brews & Bacon Social! What’s better than a Sunday morning brunch on the water? This event features local Door County restaurants and their unique Bloody Mary’s. This year, sample an even larger assortment of craft beer, and indulge in the ultimate breakfast food: bacon. Enjoy a bacon flight and dance along to live music while sipping your favorite morning beverage. Each Bloody Mary vendor will compete for the title of ‘Best Bloody Mary’ and ‘Best Bloody Mary Garnish’. Who will win? Come and vote for your favorites to find out!
$40 Ticket includes:
- 3 oz. Bloody Mary tastings from Door County establishments and competitors;
- TBD quantities of locally brewed Beers and Ciders
- Bacon flights. Yes, tastings of different types of bacon and preserved pork.
- Additional beer and pizza available for purchase
Each entrant must 21 years or older, and present valid photo ID and eTicket before entry permitted.
All proceeds support Destination Sturgeon Bay.
