August 1 – August 2, 2026

Come join us for our 35th annual Door County Classic & Wooden Boat Show, featuring the sleek and nostalgic
“Fiberglass Boats of the Jet Age”—our 2026 “Rock & Roll Marque of the Year.”

We invite you to bring your crew, friends, and family for a weekend of boating and fun on Sturgeon Bay’s historic working waterfront. On display are beautiful boats to admire, from professionally built and maintained masterpieces to the impressive work of talented amateurs and even vessels in the middle of restoration. This diverse collection ranges from canoes and kayaks to sailboats, fiberglass classics, and glorious mahogany runabouts.

Registered boaters will showcase their boats throughout the weekend, competing for prestigious awards and ribbons while displayed across the Maritime Museum grounds and along the scenic waterfront promenade.

Show hours are 10am-5pm Saturday and 10am-3pm Sunday. Friday morning is the opening of registration, and Bay-to-Lake cruise for registered boaters, and Docktails & Delights party.

Shop the Boathouse Sale, learn from U.S. Coast Guard demonstrations, view beautiful boats, and enjoy tasty food and drinks!

The Classic & Wooden Boat Show is a great time for all ages on Sturgeon Bay’s west waterfront.

Donations are being accepted – and welcomed – for the Boathouse Sale. We’re looking for Nautical and Maritime items, such as boating hardware, rope/rigging, fishing gear, clothing and accessories, dive gear, nautical decor, even boats! The Boathouse Sale is a fundraiser for DCMM. To donate, or for large item pick up, call the Maritime Museum: (920)743-5958; or email info@dcmm.org.

Sikaflex Build-A-Boat Contest:

The Boat Show also includes the hilarious and competitive Sikaflex Build-A-Boat Challenge. Watch as two-person teams work feverishly with limited materials on Saturday to craft a one-of-a-kind boat that will float during the “sea trials” on Sunday…hopefully! Sunday races begin at 1 pm!
