We are incredibly excited to announce that the Door County Maritime Museum has been recognized as an “Exemplary Employer” by the Wisconsin Family and Caregiver Support Alliance. The award recognizes employers who set the example on how to build a caregiver-friendly workplace by supporting the needs of its employees, which in turn helps with recruiting and retention. We’re honored to receive this recognition!
Partners in designing this award with Wisconsin Family and Caregiver Support Alliance include the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development and the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.
What’s even more humbling is DCMM did not seek this; one of our employees nominated us. We take care of our crew – and that incredible crew takes care of the organization, to make the Door County Maritime Museum one of the best maritime museums in the nation!
