National Maritime Day – May 22

Honoring National Maritime Day 2024 on Wednesday. May 22, the Door County Maritime Museum will offer Pay-What-You-Can admission to all three DCMM locations for the day (Sturgeon Bay, Cana Island and Death’s Door), celebrating our beloved maritime community.

Lighthouse Festivals: Tours on SALE NOW!

Festival weekends include air, land-based, boat, and adventure tours that provide access to all 11 of the treasured lighthouses of Door County and three of our neighbors to the south.

DCMM Recognized for Excellence

DCMM recently learned that the organization has passed the American Alliance of Museums’ Core Documents Verification, an important milestone in its ongoing efforts to demonstrate excellence and meet museum industry standards and best practices.

Winter Fleet 2024

The M/V JOSEPH L. BLOCK arrived at the entrance to the Sturgeon Bay Ship Canal mid-morning on Wednesday January 17, 2024. She proceeded down the bay, through the three Sturgeon Bay bridges, pivoted and backed into her slip for winter layup at Fincantieri Bay Shipbuilding.
